My favourite scene of this book was when Bruce finds out some of his stolen electronics were missing and only Chappie... or Russ could be reponsible for it. Bruce ends up tying up Chappie who wakes up to see Russ leaving with a load of VCRs, and threatens to kill them both. Even though Bruce has done this, he is actually a nice guy and brings Chappie a blanket and plugs in a portable heater cause Chappie was only in his underwear and was bound to get cold. Later, Chappie comes up with this bright idea that he would stand by the window a wait for someone to come and see him. When someone didnt come, he would bang his head against the window but no one heard him until Russ came back and rescued him. While rescuing Chappie, the curtains caught on fire and the apartment burnt down with Bruce inside trying to save Chappie.
This is my favourite scene because after this, everything in their lives change, Russ and Chappie change their identities together, but soon grow tired of each other and go their seperate ways. This really made the book more interesting, seeing how Chappie handles his new life without anyone by his side.
