"Rule of the Bone" is about a guy named Chappie. He's 14 years old and in grade 8, he ends up stealing from his mom and step dad to get money for weed. When his mom and step dad found out,... they kicked him out since he had stole and sold his inheiritence, he crashes at his friend, Russ' place. Him and Russ end up getting into trouble with the bikers that lived with them, and after the appartment goes up in flames, Chappie and Russ move into an old school bus with two brothers. After a while, they decide to leave the school bus, and before they leave, they got tattoos, for Russ, it was a panther, for Chappie, it was cross bones (therefore making him change his name to bone). After that, they end up breaking into and living in a expensive house. When Russ leaves Bone (Chappie), Chappie/Bone goes back to the school bus but this time he brings Froggy along with him after saving her from Buster Brown. Bone and Rose (Froggy's real name) end up meeting I-Man when they go back to the bus. I-Man, Bone, and Rose end up living together for a few months, growing plants and organic stuff. Bone decides to take Rose back to her mom so he goes on a train with her and leaves her when he decides to go home himself. When Bone gets home, he finds out that his mom and Ken (step dad) split since he was gone. He tries to tell his mom of the horrible things that Ken did to him. His mom doesn't believe him, so he leaves angry and goes to his grandma's house. When he gets there, his grandma tells him about his real dad, Paul Dorset, and Bone decides he wants to meet him. Bone ends up going back to the bus to see I-Man, and after a few days, I-Man has to go back home to Jamaica. When Bone finds out that I-Man has to go back to Jamaica, he decides to go with him to Jamaica, where after staying there a few months, he ends up finding his dad. Bone and I-Man go to where Bone's dad lives and they end up living with him after having a small family reunion. After living with his dad for a while, they go back to I-Man's ant farm and live there. When I-Man gets shot and dies, Bone goes back to his dad's house, and with anger puts a paper on his dad's chest saying "THE BONE RULES, FORGET TEE". Bone ends up working on a boat after leaving his dad's, and his friend Russ came to Montego bay, but he doesn't find Chappie. Chappie stays in Jamaica and goes on a boat.
